Since arriving in the Berkshires in the summer of 2004, countless people of all faiths have benefited from these vital programs.
Shabbat Services: Inspiring morning services (10 AM) followed by a delicious community Kiddush. Holiday Celebrations: From public Menorah lightings at The Mount to community Passover Seders and Purim feasts.
Religious Services & Observance:
🔹 Minyan & Shabbat: Regular services with a focus on song and spirit.
🔹 Lifecycle Events: Bar/Bat Mitzvah tutoring and Brit Milah services.
🔹 Home Mitzvot: Assistance with Mezuzah and Tefillin checking or kitchen koshering.
🔹 Kosher in the Berkshires: Access to kosher catering and holiday food distribution
Lifelong Learning: "Torah & Tea" for women, adult education lectures, and one-on-one study.
In July 2025, the building opened as the new Chabad of the Berkshires center, marking one of the largest capital investments in the region's Jewish community history.
A Multifaceted Campus: The 22,000-square-foot facility now houses a social hall, educational spaces, and the region's first local mikvah.
Community Resources: Beyond religious services, the campus features a meditation terrace, a children's playground, and courts for basketball and pickleball.
